Stress injury of the lunate in tennis players: a case series and related biomechanical considerations

This is an important paper stressing the presence of a significant cause of wrist pain in atheletes, namely stress reaction/fracture. It is of utmost clinical importance that this entity is known, both to clinicians as well as radiologists. To differentiate this from lunatomalacia, from a radiolgical but more importantly from a therapeutic point of view, is essential.
