      We are indebted to Roy F Baumeister for giving us permission to reproduce this wonderful piece which he originally published in the American Journal of Radiology (April Fools Day, 1992). He is very easy to find on the internet as a “Highly Cited Author” and continues to be domiciled in Cleveland, Ohio. This is for all the contributors of the BJSM!

      Enclosed is our latest version on Ms# 85-02-22-RRRRR, that is, the re-re-revised revision of our paper. Choke on it. We have again rewritten the entire manuscript from start to finish.
