Average weekday morning?

The alarm rings, a much annoying sound. I sleepwalk, zombie like to the shower, where I spend the next 10 min failing to wake up. I grab a banana and a glass of orange juice as I pass through the kitchen, where one or more family members will usually be having a real breakfast. By consensus I have been requested to not speak to anyone at this stage.

Most memorable sporting moment you’ve been a part of?

Easy! Hole in one. 23 July 2015! 9-iron off the 14th tee at our local golf club in Kragerø.

What is one skill that’s served you the most in your career?

Reasonable fluency in English. No doubt. I learnt it spending a high school year as an American Field Service exchange student in Reisterstown, Maryland.

Good ‘career moves’ (by accident or by design)?

Halfway through medical school in Oslo, I wanted to pursue a master’s degree in kinesiology at University of California, Los Angeles (and play college volleyball…). …
