As medial soft tissue injury risks in pronated feet has been associated with their medially located COP [21,22], foot orthoses are expected to shift the COP laterally during gait for symptomatic pronated feet. More specifically, we expected the lateral COP shift to occur during the FFPOP phase to alter forefoot dynamics, as the COP was located under the forefoot during this phase.
