Background
Muscle weakness is a common motor impairment that affects the performance of activities of daily living in children1 and adults2 with cerebral palsy. Strengthening interventions in people with cerebral palsy produce patient-perceived improvements in strength, walking ability and activity participation.3 Inspite of this, previous systematic reviews demonstrate that the effects of strengthening interventions on strength and physical performance are still uncertain.4 ,5
Aim
This systematic review aimed to determine the effectiveness of strengthening interventions on strength and physical performance in people with cerebral palsy.
Searches and inclusion criteria
