This editorial uses a Premier League example but it discusses an international issue that transcends all levels of sport. What is the role of the team health professional? In the opening round of the 2015 English Premier League, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho publicly attacked his medical team in the post-game media interview. Mourinho expressed his frustration with his medical team after they were beckoned on (twice) by the referee to attend to player Eden Hazard.
