    About the app

    Runkeeper is an app designed to log several outdoor sports by Global Positioning System (GPS), such as running, walking, skiing or skating (figure 1A). The track of the training obtained from GPS is plotted on a map from Google Maps (figure 1B). This app is able to record all the basic data: duration, distance, speed (eg, km/hour, total and by splits), pace (min/1 km) and elevation.
