It was found that two training sessions per week were sufficient to cause a significant increase in the majority of measurements made. The extent of the improvement in women was inversely related to the starting value, with most measurements, whereas this was not found in men. The measurements in this small group were comparable to those found in a large series in Canada, with the exception of the proportion of body fat which was lower in this UK series.}, issn = {0306-3674}, URL = {https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/17/2/76}, eprint = {https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/17/2/76.full.pdf}, journal = {British Journal of Sports Medicine} }
