Trauma Screening Questionnaire (TSQ)A 10-item self-report screen for survivors of all types of traumatic stress. This includes 5 re-experiencing and 5 arousal items with yes/no answers. Positive score is 6 or more points.62
Startle, Physically Upset by Reminders, Anger, and Numbness Self-Report Screen (SPAN)A 4-item self-report screen derived for the Davidson Trauma Scale. Each item is rated on a 5-point scale. Positive score is 6 or more points.63
Short Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Rating Interview (SPRINT)An 8-item self-report screen assessing core PTSD symptoms (intrusion, numbing, avoidance, arousal), somatic symptoms, stress vulnerability and functional impairment. Symptoms are rated on a 5-point severity scale. Positive score is 14.64
