Dislocation of the peroneal tendons. Long-term results of surgical treatment

J Bone Joint Surg Am. 1980 Apr;62(3):451-3.

Abstract

Twenty-eight patients with a traumatic peroneal-tendon dislocation treated surgically were clinically evaluated after an average follow-up interval of 6.8 years. Excellent results were obtained in all but one patient. Surgical treatment is recommended when dislocation recurs after initial treatment.
